I was looking for a little help with foobar...I am really lost here. I have recently d/l the program and have been reading for the past couple days, but seem to be really lost and feel like I am a little over my head with all the programming language and acronyms.
I am not very computer savvy in this particular catagory. I will be using it for listening to shn/flac files i get as torrents. Since I have d/l foobar, I able to play only a few of my shows that are FLAC format and none of my SHN. I am looking for the plugin and directions on how to use it. I tried using the wiki page for the plugin, but it gave several options under the SHN plugin link and honestly, I didn't understand what it was offering. I really just want the basics now; being able to listen to all my shows i pull.
eventually, I might be intersted in using the program for my ipod too, but want to get the basics down before I start doing some hack job on my Ipod!
Foobar seems to be very user involved. I think it is a great program for people who have a deeper understanding for audio and things of that nature. It seems very, very customizable, which is really cool, but I am not too sure if it is over my head.
Does anyone think that I might want to look at winamp with a SHN plug in as an option? It seems a lot more simple, or at least that is my understanding.
btw, I am using a Vaio notebook, with XP as my OS.
