How do I embed a CUE into an APE image?

I have been trying for a week now to embed a CUE sheet into an APE file. I know it is possible but I can't get it to work. At Monkey's Audio forum and here, it says that APL is the way to go but that isn't working with MAC[3.99]. I've installed the 4.01b and again, no luck. The CHM help must be for a different version since it explains that there is a tagger in MA options which I have never seen in the month I have been using MA.

I am not interested in automating this with EAC [yet], I just want to update my APE images by embedding the CUE sheet so I can add my own tags into the image. Right now I have an image.cue and an image.wav. How do I make MA embed the CUE into the APE image?

Thanks in advance-

In essence, you set a tag called Cuesheet to the contents of your cue file.

How do yo normally tag your APE files?

If you are using foobar then highlight the APE file in a playlist and select "Utils" > "Edit cuesheet" from the playlist context menu. You can load the cuesheet from there.

From the command line my updates of Case's Tag and Wapet (useful for EAC processing) are useful. I added the functionality to tag from the contents of a text file (-f switch) to do exactly what you need to do (before I moved to WavPack).

It was that simple. Thanks so much Synthetic Soul, I really missed the man behind the curtain on that one. I was expecting something ridiculous to be wrong with my machine again.
