Full Version: Are Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 THX full-range speakers?

When configuring your speakers in Windows Vista there is a section which says the following:

"Satellite speakers usually have a limited dynamic range and require that they be used with a subwoofer. If your configuration includes full-range speakers, select them below."

You can then choose the placement of any full-range speakers you may have.

Thing is, what the heck is "full-range"? It doesn't define it. I've assumed that most if not all PC speakers don't fall into this category, but I was hoping someone could confirm.

Okay, having looked over that link it would seem the speakers need to support a particular range, but having looked at the spec page for my speakers, I don't understand of the frequency listed is purely for the satellites, or also the subwoofer too.
