I installed projectM which I can open in a seperate window from the view visualizations menu option.

1) How can I change the appearance and color of the visualizations ?
It defulats to red and black and just shows horizontal lines going across ?

2) Can I embed ths visualization for projectM into my ColumnsUI setup ?
I dont see it listed under the visualizations panel.
I have the same question about the equlaizer.

I forgot to mention that when I go into preferences for visualization and projectM I get the basic settings and project M settings tab but there dont seem to be many options here.

You can obtain additional visualizations here. To embed ProjectM into Columns UI you will need the panel version of the component, you can obtain it here. ProjectM is a memory leaking, OpenGL intensive application. It's performance greatly depends on your computer hardware. If you have a modern machine with plenty of ram (1gb? 2gb? more?) and a modern video card (AGP 4x/8x? PCI-E?) then it will run fine but if you have an ancient box of parts and low resources you should probably avoid ProjectM, it's no longer in development anyway.
