did a search, didn't find the answer I was looking for.

i'm looking for a way to force foobar to use a background image. all I run is columns ui with my own column layout and fcs config in full screen. it would also be preferable if I could use the transparancy setting from columns ui but not necessary. example with foobar layed over my desktop wallpaper:

The default playlist and the columnsui playlist do not support images. You can use single column playlist to add a background image to your playlist however it is not static and will scroll with your playlist so you'll need to tile it if your playlist is longer than your image height.

The only component that I've found that will attempt to play with transparency is foo_ui_panels but it is a brand new component (only a couple days old) and works with vista's glass effect not the xp/2k transparency effect. So unless you want to just flag the entire foobar app as semi-transparent you are out of luck.

EDIT: foo_dockable_panels also supports transparency but that is a considerably different approach to setting up your foobar.
