I have ASPI and all correct drivers installed, including Nero which I registered. When I select a CD to burn by CTRL+A and convert..write audio cd, the prompt comes up but never shows different speeds to burn at no matter what media I use. Burns always fail. Any ideas?

are you able to burn from nero itself? you could also try a different nero version.

Burning in Nero works fine! I don't use Nero 7 though, because I despise it. Simply 6.x.x.x.

i use the latest version 6 (7 is bloated) and it burns fine

Similar problem here, happens on two different systems, only 'maximum' is ever displayed. One's a liteon DVDRW, the other's some HP lightscribe garbage thing. Pressing Refresh does nothing. But the burns always work. They just go faster than i'd like.

i have had a problem with burninate ever since ive been on vista.

firstly, nero6 gives me warnings that it is not compatible (it did this on xp too for me), and the burning plugin in foobar fails before it even starts.

is there anyone on vista who can burn from foobar? i really miss it.

I think Burninate hasn't been poted to vista.

I hate to sound like I am beating a dead horse but has a solution been found? I literally have changed nothing since Foobar 9.4 came out. It was working fine for all my CDs then today without warning it just kept giving me a CD Writing Failed message. I have not installed or uninstalled anything. Nero is 6.3 Pro and I am on Windows XP. My burner and Nero work fine without Foobar but I would prefer if I could not use Nero directly. Thanks
