Hello.

I'm pretty new to foobar. I've been playing around with it for the last couple of days, but one thing is bothering me.

When I choose to play an album from my playlist tree, I wan't foobar to keep playing tracks from that album, even if I'm browsing other artists/albums. Now it only plays the next track if I keep focus on that artist/album, which is pretty annoying.

I've attached an image so you can see my setup as it looks now.

So, on that picture I'm listening to RATM - Down Rodeo. While listening to that I wan't to browse my library but when Down Rodeo is finish playing, I want it to play the next track on that RATM album, the track Without A Face.

Now I hope you know what I mean :-)

You probably have Playback Follows Cursor enabled. Disable it and see if that helps.

Look in the menu > Playback > Playback Follows Cursor. If there's a checkmark next to it, click it to turn it off.

Hmm which version are you using?
Because I can browse like i want but files are not send to playlist until I send them to playlist.

Question: Are you using a playlist switcher or tabs?
Because then you can see if there a several playlist which are "made" by playlist tree

Playlist Tree Panel is version 2.2.4, the latest i think?

Theres only one playlist according to the "playlist switcher" - named *Browser*.
To display that I'm using the "Columns Playlist."

Foobar has multiple playlists. One of these playlists you are using as library playlist for Playlisttree: So everytime you continue browsing this playlist will be overwritten. That has nothing to do with Playlisttree, that happens with each plugin that uses such autosendplaylists: that is normal behaviour and nothing can be done!

I consider these autosendplaylists as evil and would recommend to stop using them. Instead of them create new playlists or send from such autosendplaylists tracks you like to hear to another playlist (by context menu, drag&drop, context menu)

download foo_browser, set "browser playlist" automatically activate.
set "library playlist (playlist tree ) to another name than "browser playlist" ( for exemple "playing")
set selection action to browse
set double click action to "play in library playlist"
