I've seen some UI's with changed Seekbar/Volume Bar and Scrollbars. Mostly the authors just modified the colors, but I don't know how to do even this. The authors changed mostlly only the colors, but sometimes the layout of the knobs too. And I wanna do this too ... So my question is clear I think: How can I do this ?

Only way to do this as far as I know (on XP) is to change the VS of windows. Scroll bars Volume Sliders are based on the current vis style

And it is not possible to create some kind of progress bar which does not only show the volume but rather lets you control it ?! I've seen progress bars to show it, but I think it is impossible to control something with these bars (this would be also the solution for a new seekbar I think). I wanna become my bars in the same style as my foobar, but wont change my system style ... thats the problem.
