You could also try Encspot. It will give you alot of info about the mp3 and tell you about bad last frame errors. However the most secure way to check for errors is to listen to them.

What I am looking for is a rogram for Windows that will check an MP3 for errors. We had a hard drive devlop read errors and I've recovered most of the MP3s successfully. But I want to check for any defective MP3s. Like I can do with FLAC files. I'm not interested in header errors or frame errors. I want to know if the MP3 is free of compression errors.
