I would like a option how "Each folder is album" and/or "Set new album at every same ALBUM tag", otherwise it is complex to use album gain in a extensive playlist .

Why the 'database.foo' saves the path from files? This is really unpractical .

Note really, what if you have 2 songs named equally, in dif directories, perhaps in of different albums

So you can start a second foobar which does the replaygaining or playing.

yeah, that would work , <nitpick>still independant scanner would be nicer imho. (depending on how hard is it to implement of course)</nitpick>
