After reinstalling .NET Framework and VS05 I've noticed that Playlists dropdown and Playlist switcher don't show playlists anymore (Playlist tabs still does).

System: WinXP SP2, foobar2000 v0.9.4.2, foo_ui_columns 0.1.3 beta 1v7, foo_uie_playlist_dropdown 0.5.7.5

How can this problem be solved?

Only reason I know of that Columns UI wouldn't display playlists in the playlist switcher panel is a bugged version of comctl32.dll (other than a bad selection of colours).

What version of this does columns ui report from its main tab? (click populate)

That's not SP2 version, that's RTM....

I don't know what happened to your Windows installation, but erm maybe reinstall SP2 if you can.

Ok, thank you; next time I'll check if I have enough free space on HDD before installing VS05 SP1 (last time the installation crashed, and .NET programs/VS05 didn't work anymore)...

I had the same problem and installed this patch:
Multiple versions of Comctl32.dll may cause both Windows XP style and Windows Classic style windows to appear in Windows XP

Worked like a charm.
