Hi all:
I/m plannin' to upgrade to 0.9.4.2, but it seems that I can't download anything from the official website, foobar.exe nor additional components, but I still can download files from other website and works just fine, such as adobe.com

XP SP2 with seamonkey 1.1.1
so could somebody please just do a test for me, thanks~~

Works here, opera 9.20 on Windows 2000.

Do you receive any error message when you start your download?

okay, I give up... just asked a friend of mine d/l all the extra components for me...
still can't figure it out why can't I download files from the website (firewall, browser, antivirus all checked...)

anyway, thanks for the reply Egor

Have your got any "remove http referrer" plugins for any of your stuff? If the referrer is not part of foobar2000.org you will get redirected to the homepage.

it might be the reason why I always got redirected to the mainpage
so strange, I didn't install any kind of plug-ins for my web browser nor firewall tool....

Just use IE? Since you're using XP SP2 you've probably got it installed.
