Hey there. Does anybody know if there is a way to control the volume by hovering over the foobar icon minimized in the systray? Just a thought. I was wondering if there might be a component out there for this. Any info would be great. Thanks.

you could set global keyboard shortcuts...

try foo_advancedcontrols, you have to switch to volume bar (it's set to teekbar by default) http://pelit.koillismaa.fi/plugins/redir.php?id=607
