Full Version: Broken headers? What to use to fix?

I have two mp3s with, I guess, broken headers (or maybe iTunes has a bug): in iTunes they are listed as 32kbps and 29 and 41 minutes long respectively. However they are 3-4 minutes and encoded at a more normal variable bit rate. Are there any tools (preferably for Mac - command line is fine) that can be used to fix these files?

The tracks are available at

They're high bitrate VBR encoded by LAME 3.92 according to Gambit's Mr. Questionman.

You can very easily fix them if you use VBRFix, according to the download area someone submitted a MAC compile of the program. wink.gif

Edit: Forgot to mention I was able to fix them using VBRFix, Foobar2000, and mpTrim so any of these applications will fix them just fine.
