Is there a easy solution to get the tagging to work with a nero aac encoded aac file to work on iTunes?

I read this thread http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....showtopic=14447
But I really don't know if thats about tagging, playback in itunes or both.

I can play Nero AAC's in iTunes just I don't get any tags, I hav searched and I know this is a popular problem but I can't find a solution.

Is there anyway I can just get it to work state out of eac with the tags without having to do anything els after they ripped? dry.gif Like I would be able to with a mp3?

Oh, and another thing. Can I get nero AAC's to rip with CDex?

Thanks for you help! wink.gif

That thread you linked (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=14447) is a little old and should not be used as a guideline for ripping with EAC and encoding to Nero AAC. Instead, you should look here for more information.

The tag should work without any additional work just as long as you enter the more complex command (the third in the list under EAC). Also make sure that you are outputting to *.m4a files, not *.mp4 file. Although iTunes and QuickTime can read *.mp4 files, iTunes treats them as videos and all tag information is lost when converting them to *.m4a.
