I'm just finished to download an album of U2 (Achtung Baby) and it was compressed with LAME 3.92 vbr, probably --alt preset stardard, but I don't know how I get the .cue file to separate the tracks from the mp3 file, the album was ripped in a long file but I don't have the .cue file, help me, please!

I am sorry to say this, but it may be that there is a greater probability that this is an --r3mix file.

Roel's website is still the number one hit on Google to a string on mp3 quality.

Scan it with encspot. The number of 320 frames sometimes suggests a file is --aps.

No big deal though. Thats a very nice file to find and download. If only they could all be Lame VBR. rolleyes.gif

Edit - Now that I think of it, I thought I saw a thread saying that --r3mix is no longer recognized in New versions of Lame, but I can't remember if 3.92 was affected.
