trying out some configs and cant seem to get my artwork to come in from itunes.

okay, I have all my album art in itunes correct and use auto sort of itunes to put them in a directory order. How do I get the artwork from itunes over to Foobar?

Yeah, i looked into that when i first started foobar as well, it's not fun.


If the album art is embedded (that is, it doesn't appear in separate directories) there is not currently a way to display it. You have to figure out a way to dis-embed the artwork and place the artwork files in their corresponding album directories. As far as I know, this is impossible to do with foobar.

If you can find a way to do this, Please let me know!

so then, how to get the artwork for the songs the best way for over 12k songs?

use foobar's mass file mover to sort them into a directory structure by artist then album

then use some program to extract the cover from the files and save it as folder.jpg
