I constantly add new albums to the media library, and i was wondering if there is a possibility to sort on newest added album / or on windows folder modify date.

The title-formatting document is the first place to look, you'll find %lastmodified% there. Not sure where you want to sort... in SCPL (PanelsUI) you could sort on this if you do your own SCPL scripting. You could also do it in the Playlist Tree Panel. I have a simple query in mine, just shows what has %lastmodified% with a year of 2007, sorted reverse by date of modification.

yes. %lastmodified% is a part of the standard title formatting language.

I'm trying to sort my albums first on year, and then on newest added album. Not sure how to do that yet tho.
How about sorting on date of entrance to the database?
I know foo_cwb_hooks had a feature scheduled on %_added%, was it ever finished?
