Hi,

I was testing with Nero AAC encoded files in iTunes. Embedding album art seems to work well in iTunes itself, but the artwork doesn't show up when playing the file on my 2nd generation iPod Nano. Has someone succeeded in using album art with Nero AAC files on a Nano? I have installed the latest firmware on the device.

It works fine on my 5G iPod with the latest firmware. I ripped some songs using Nero's AAC encoder and had iTunes add the album art (it found the album art automatically). There was another album I ripped and I had to manually add the album art. Both albums tested worked fine with the album art and gapless playback.

Maybe restoring your iPod nano will set some things straight. Just make sure you have the latest version of iTunes. A warning though: restoring your iPod will erase absolutely everything on it so make sure your music collection is on your computer.

Thanks for the tip, kornchild. I restored the Nano, and the album art feature is now working with Nero encoded files too.
