Full Version: Why no options in foo_midi "Output - Plug-in"?

DLL/thgil
Today when I tried to play a midi file in foobar2k, I found it didn't play what the sound should be. I thought I should switch to a GS wavetable (or should I say a VSTi in GS mode?) for the midi was in GS mode, but when I open the dialogue of Preference, I could not select a VSTi in the "MIDI synthesizer host -> Output -> Plug-in" drop down menu... There is ONLY a "Emu de MIDI", NOTHING else. I cannot select ANYTHING ELSE...

What happened to my foobar2k or my foo_midi?

BTW: I'm using foobar2k v0.9.42 + foo_midi v1.7.

BTW 2: Could anyone tell me how to attach a pic in my topic? I' new here... m(_ _)m

BTW 3: My ID is "thgil", why the forum displays "DLL/thgil" instead? I can't remember what additional info I inputted when I was registering...

THANKS!
DLL/thgil
Problem solved.
New VSTi options available after copying the *.DLL in "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins" directory.
I used to install the VSTi in "D:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins"...

REALLY FUNNY...
