Found this recently. Looks like the X-Fi chips will feature on non-Creative sound cards. Interesting, I guess.

Sounds interesting but it's unclear whether or not this card will do DDL and DTS real time encoding...

Now that its released, has any body had experience with this card?

I search at least once every day of new reputable reviews. It seems most of the stuff out there is only speculation on what the card might be like when it comes out. I would really like some audiophiles opinions as I am considering getting one of these if I hear good words about it.
