Ok, I know for standard definition you are going to get the best quality from a CRT. With that in mind, what about for video games off of my Xbox 1? I was thinking about getting a Plasma(I don't like LCD's) but I want the best video quality from my Xbox 1 games and I would like to know if it's quality compares between a Plasma and CRT.

I know that some games on the Xbox will run at 720p or even 1080i, and I know that the Xbox runs even standard definition stuff at 480p internally, so at the very least you're getting 480p output, and perhaps better for some things.

Of course, if you're talking about an HD CRT, it'll look great with the HD stuff, but I'm guessing that the comparison is between an SD CRT and an HD Plasma, in which case the plasma will look much better than the CRT for stuff that runs at 720p or 1080i, and probably at 480p which everything on the Xbox is guaranteed to do.

The only place a CRT is superior (in my opinion) is for SD stuff.
