If we start the converter via context menu, then:

1. We choose our settings
2. Click Cancel. The file save as dialog appears. Too early.

If we click cancel, the converter is gone. I think at file save as dialog time, the converter should stay in the background and disappear when the user clicks OK in the "save as" window. Simply because we may cancel the save as dialog because we want to change converter settings again.

Do you mean "Click OK"?

I don't mean to be pedantic - I'm just trying to make sure I understand what you are saying.

I see your point (if you do mean OK), but I think it goes against convention to have one button close two dialogues, and having to click OK on Converter Setup dialogue to close it afterward is one more additional click.

Oops, what I wrote was bullshit.

I meant:

1. We choose our settings in converter.
2. Click OK. The file save as dialog appears. In the background, the converter disappears, too early.
3. Think "OH, I forgot to set it to replaygain scan"
4. Click "Cancel" in the "save as" dialog.
5. We're out of the converter then. Foobar should return to the converter window instead.
