[EDIT: Found the current Coaster Factory EAC "Quickstart Manual". I had been linking to the old tutorial. Sorry.]

The configuration of EAC seem fine, but personally I would recommend you to install the AccurateRip dll and just use Burst mode if the discs are clean and errorfree. If a disc is not in the AR databae, you can always press F6 to test the tracks and ensure you get matching CRC's. If a certain disc fail, I use Secure mode with only AccurateStream enabled - NO C2, and I still do a test/copy - I'm paranoid blink.gif

Thanks. I wonder what's outdated on there? [see first post - edited]

So I've been going through the steep EAC learning curve recently.

I installed AccurateRip dll last night.

Now, can I CHECK the "Drive checks C2 error" box and UNcheck the "Reduce speed upon error..." box to get faster rips, since I have AccurateRip? (and based on what I've just read regarding drive speed and error detection, maybe it is better to uncheck the 'reduce speed' box no matter what - ?)

For the test and copy, when do I press F6? Do I hold it while I start the rip (by clicking on the mp3 icon in EAC)?
