Full Version: Last.fm: How to "scrobble"?
Hydrogenaudio Forums > Hosted Forums > foobar2000 > 3rd Party Plugins - (fb2k)

I used the search, but I couldn't find anything that could really help me...

But I start from the beginning:
I have been a loyal Winamp user since an early 2.x version. However, resulting from the crashes and other tiny problems introduced with the latest 5.x versions I'm looking for something that could replace Winamp on my system, with all its advanced features and skin support (which disqualified "Evil Player", "1by1" and other small players).

Currently, the best alternative seems to be foobar2000, a player I didn't like much when I tested it aeons ago. But I spent some time to find out what I can do with its plugins, and now I'm quite exalted. Only one thing is detaining the replacement of Winamp on my system:
I need a working last.fm plugin.

Can anyone tell me what steps I must follow to make it work?

Thanks in advance...

Hello,
You need to install foo_audioscrobbler.dll to your components folder.
After restart, go to main preference > tools > Audioscrobbler
That's all. wink.gif

I am using foo_audioscrobbler, that way it uses less memory

If you want the usual last.fm software you can download it from their homepage

Yes, I got the software, but I didn't know if there is support for foobar...

Well, thanks - I'll try it...

any way to setup a script that switches the track after the song has gone past 50%

If you want to cheat just make some 31 second tracks and copy tags to them.

So, is there a way to listen to last.fm stations?
