Full Version: Q0 - At what point is it point stereo ?

Can anyone confirm for me at which frequency Point Stereo begins to be used at Quality 0 ?
Is it just a predefined limit beyond which PS is used, or is it dynamically altered during encoding ?

And also, is the Hydrogen Audio Wiki on channel coupling correct in its statement that:
QUOTE
Phase stereo is not currently implemented in reference encoder due to complexity, but will be re-added again later on.

With regards to Vorbis of course and, if it's relevant, aoTuVb5..

It's dynamically altered during encoding depending upon what -q value you use it mostly effect higher frequencies though. No Phase Stereo is not implemented the AoTuVb5 tunings only effect Noise Normalization and Point Stereo
