Full Version: CUE not working in Winamp?

DeadMan
OK two problems. For some reason using Winamp 5.34 with Cue Player 0.56 refuses to playback a CUE file with an MP3 file (Same name except extension of course) it just skips past all the tracks. If I play a CUE file with an APE it plays back fine.

If I playback the CUE in Foobar2000 it plays it back fine. But Foobar2000 is not my player of choice. So I decided to save the playlist in Foobar2000 to a M3U. But it does not save it correctly. It saves it as an M3U but the M3U file just contains the name of the MP3 file repeated the same number of times as there are tracks. For instance.

This is the original CUE file that loads and plays the tracks in sequence and show the tracks names etc in Foobar2000 just fine (But won't play in Winamp).

(It was originally 'WAVE' at the end of line 3 but it makes no difference)

When I save the playlist in Foobar2000 (Latest version) to M3U I get this.

If I save the playlist in Foobar2000 to FPL it saves it correctly. But then I cannot playback FPL in Winamp.

So 1. Why does Winamp not play CUE files with MP3's using Cue Player anymore (I am sure it used to)? And 2. Why does Foobar2000 not save the playlist to M3U correctly?

1. I don't know shit about Winamp + Cue Player, so no more about that.

2. M3U simply doesn't support CUE-like behaviour. It just supports individual files, not subsongs. FPL isn't supported by Winamp.
