considering you have a new cdrom/dvdrom with a decent error correction, which ripper do you people use?
cdex or eac? or is there any other good audio-ripper around?
is there any ripper, that rips directly to ogg?

cdparanoia on Linux. B) I have home-brewed Perl scripts that rip to OGG or MPC or MP3 or FLAC.

EAC with secure mode. As long as you're using Windows, there's no reason not to use it. I'd probably use CD Paranoia for *nix, if I did use it, which I don't... tongue.gif

I think EAC rips directly to Ogg, though I don't use it to encode anything.
