when i play the ape files,and the cue files shows correctly the names of the singers and the songs, however,the uis-lyric could download the lyrics for the first songs that was played in the albums, when it comes to the other songs in the albums,the uie-lyric show just the lyric for the first songs. i have to search the lyrics using uie-lyric manually. but even when i've done this,that's still a problem ahead.that is when i play the first songs,the lyrics showed changed to the lyric i downloaded manually!

i am using the uie-lyric made especially for IE7 users.and i don't know whether there is a updated version.or if there are better tools for downloading lyric?

please give me a helping hand!

Just a wild guess... The lyrics are saved as files matching the filename (which would be the image-name of the CD in the default case AFAIR)?

no,they are saved in this way: "artist name-song name"

i search this problem by google, many people get this problem,and eager for a solution.

I don't like uie lyrics because it's a pain when it comes to .cue files. Most of my music is composed ape, flac, tta with a cue file so I know what you're talking about.

The problem with uie lyrics is that after doing the online search and downloading a lrc is that it will automatically associate the lyric to the song. In our case it will associate directly to the .cue file. This isn't good because all the songs from the album is directly linked to that .cue file. This means every one of the songs will play the lyric associated with the cue. You can go to Preferences, Lyric Show Panels and check Lyrics association manager, under setting to see what i'm talking about.

You can get rid of the association you just remove it under Lyrics association, but it's annoying to do this. Like I said I don't like uie lyrics so I have a better suggestion that's more efficient.

Use the Lyrics panel that was posted Here to play lyrics and have something else download the lyrics. You can use uie lyrics, minilyrics, evil lyrics to download .lrc, .txt files into a folder and have lyrics panel search that folder.

In my case I use minilyrics, download to c:\Program Files\foobar2000\lyrics\ as %artist% - %title%.lrc (doesn't have the option to save as this so I have to rename them somtimes)

Then I have lyrics panel use c:\Program Files\foobar2000\lyrics\ with %artist% - %title%.lrc as a source.

You can use a preview plugin to preview a song for 5 seconds and have minilyrics download the lyrics automatically. just like downloading album arts with those plugins
