Hello smile.gif
I want to request a customizable and clickable slider or kind of seekbar. I would use the wsh panel but it crashes all the time which is a pity.
Maybe someone who speaks the same language as the creator of wsh panel could modify it so that it won't crash anymore? If this isn't possible maybe someone could write such a kind of panel.

I don't know how difficult it is to program the requested slider or seekbar .

Opinions wanted: Do we need such a thing?

if we want to go forward with the mood tagging, then yes. I think that far outshines the star rating system and I really like the grid as opposed to the slider (if you are planning on making a 16 tag script that is..) then sliders are not actually cool since it will only go to 16 positions on the slider as opposed to the grid, which looks cooler and performs the exact number of scripts (1 tag per grid color)

If people have made graphical star rating systems (Ive seen it on FofR and such) then I dont see it as difficult to create a grid or color based slider, since that is all taken care of with images that you hover and click. Its a neat idea and I dont know how to code or fix things like that, but if anyone can do it, godspeed and we will try to help out as much as we can.

I think it would be nice...

No. We dont need more nuts and bolts to do UI-design and skinning with tags. We need components which only need to be told what we want, and which then do the UI-layout by themselves. Users are there for making decisions, tools are there for doing the work.

Which tools do you mean?

Hehe. Sounds like you're sick of panels ui like tagz overload? Honestly, I am. OK, it's about extreme customizability. But very time consuming. Extremely geekful. The next step is to write ones own components.
