Hi,

I'm planning to decode some MP2 bitstream with the MAD decoder from Underbit.
Searching the net I came up with some few examples how to use it principally and I have also addressed the mailinglist. Still it's hard for me to understand the plain source code. (Certainly this has to do with the fact that I'm still learning C wink.gif).
Now, what I'd like to know: when you worked with MAD, what was your approach and do you know some ressources for documentation?
How would you advice me to get into it?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Deve

A documented example of the high-level API is included with the library in the source file minimad.c. For a documented example of the low-level API, see Bertrand Petit's madlld.

I've used the libmad high-level API some time ago and IIRC the minimad.c file was rather straight forward. Though, compared with libogg/vorbis e.g., it's much more cumbersome -- at least for what I needed.
