I want to start a poll - but I get an error:

The error returned was:
You cannot start a poll

What do I need to do to start a poll?

This issue was fixed before, but it seems to be back: I get an error when trying to start a poll.

I know this thread is quite old, but I wanted to start a poll and shortly after realized that I couldn´t.

No one ever answered the question so....what do you need to start a poll? You must be a Moderator or have some other "privileges"?

Just tried it and I again can't start a poll, too.
This error is very new. The last few months I was able to start a poll in the polls forum.

Does anyone in charge of the forum know something about this? Dibrom? JohnV?.

Just wanted to point out that I'm not an admin/mod so you might want to try CiTay,Peter,kode54,dev0,Jan etc..
Dibrom hasn't been online since 19th Dec.

Then CiTay, Peter, kode54, dev0, Jan, any news related to this issue?
