Hi All,
I have a limited edition SQ encoded Pink floyd album I would really like to decode.
I understand every time you play vinyl it gets damaged.
I also understand that you need special SQ hardware to decode the SQ format.
My question is, in this day and age with the power of computers / DSP and all the encoding /decoding software available, is there any software that can decode the SQ format?
I understand that ProLogic II can decode SQ but it does not do a good job.
The Fosgate Tate II hardware unit from the 70s was the best thing to do this job.
Surely that technology is as old as the hills now and software can do the job much more precisely.
Does anyone know of any such software I can decode this album with to preserve it?
