Hi,

I got some high quality mp3 files and I want to transcode them easy to small ogg files. For my portable player (I know of the possible quality loss)

Is it easy to add mp3 input support for oggdropXPd? Could I do it myself or does it need a software developer?
So that I can get my ogg files.

Thanks for reply

I don't really see how this can help me to get mp3 input working on oggdropXPd.
Maybe you could explain that.

It can convert from MP3 to ogg vorbis. I understood that's what you needed.

Ok, now I got it.
It seems the ogg and lame versions are quite old. I would like to use an up to date encoder and the lancer optimation. An easy to use frontend like oggdropXPd would be nice. wink.gif

Thanks anyway!

Or you can also use MediaCoder, an any-to-any* media converter

* well, almost.
