Hi Everyone -
I am just getting into rebuilding my library losslessly. How can i burn a single .flac file (whole cd..eac i think) with a cue sheet to a cd on a macintosh? I cannot find an answer anywhere, and I have looked for quite a while. I cannot find anything in toast to do it. Anyone out there do this on a mac? Thanks!!!!

Try LiquidCD (http://www.maconnect.ch/index.php?page=liquidcd&lang=en).

Toast 8 does handle CUE files, and it does handle FLAC, but it may not do them together (I can try this at home later). Certainly one could decompress the FLAC and create a BIN file, that would likely work. Have you examine the CUE file to see that everything is correct? (paths, names, etc.?)

Individual tracks as FLAC are easily handled, I have stopped using CUE files altogether as there is no longer any discernible benefit.

Yeah. Exactly right? I am in the end trying to get the big flac file into individual apple lossless simply because all of my hardware is mac, and i like the iTunes interface. How can you make a bin out of the flac? I am using max to rip / transcode. The cue file looks good. I just have no clue how to either burn the cd from the flac / cue.. or to just split the file into tracks. Normally I can figure just about anything out without much of a headache but this one has been killing me. Probably something stupid I am missing, or am unaware of. Thanks for your help. I will be checking back... this is driving me nuts. hah.

Your best bet is to open the CUE file with XLD and export the individual tracks to the format of your choice (set this in the General tab of the preferences before you start the process).
