Redirect me if i'm in the wrong forum.

Few questions for foobar.

1. Is there anyway to modify the volume of 'Foobar' seperate from the master sound?

I have Windows XP x64 edition with a G15 keyboard, and I'm wondering how to install these two components.

A G15 keyboard plugin to have Foobar show its details in the lcd.

A custom skin for Foobar.

Generally, I am good with installing most things, but the two of these installations seem to give no idea of how to set them up.

Any help is appreciated.

As for your first question, I do not believe there is any way for foobar to have it's own separate volume control. This has been discussed before and the only practical solution I saw was to add a filter to your DSP manager to modify the volume before it is output by foobar to the windows sound system.

As for your second question, I'd suggest asking any questions you have about installation and configuration of the G15 component in the thread that you linked. But generally speaking you'll need to put a .dll file in your foobar components directory and restart foober.

As for your third question, the "skin" you linked claims to use foo_looks. I dont believe foo_looks is being developed for v0.9.x you may want to visit the Configuration Distribution Thread for more modern alternatives.

Thanx for help. I asked for help in the thread for the app, but never received an answer. I was trying to use the 'source' version stupidly and was confused. I downloaded the componenet version and just tossed the dll into my foobar\components folder, and it works great.

So, theres no plans for added a separate 'sound' for foobar? Is there a conflict or something to that effect to give reason why they don't have it?

Going to check out foo_looks.

Thanx once more for the help.

I can't found a DSP Volume control for Foobar2000 0.9.

Do you know where are a DSP Volume control similar to the old for v0.8?

I personally do not use the DSP manager too much because I prefer to listen to my music in it's native form so there may be a better alternative out there. However, you can add the "Equalizer" DSP to your Active DSPs list, click on [Configure selected], and move all the bars up or down to act as a volume control.
