Full Version: Playback queue behaviour

From my knowledge, playback queue should work as follows:

1 I'm listening to a playlist (let's call this playlist PL)
2 I want a particular song in a different playlist to play next, so I put it in the playback queue
3 The song is played after the one now playing ends
4 After the queued song ends, playback resumes from it previous position in the original playlist PL

however, I can't make foobar do this... it works IF the playlist containing the queued song is the same as the original playlist PL... but if for example the playlists are different (let's say I've searched for the son with quicksearch component) appens this

1 I'm listening to a playlist (let's call this playlist PL)
2 I want a particular song in a different playlist to play next, so I put it in the playback queue
3 The song is played after the one now playing ends
4 After the queued song ends, playback continues in the queued song's playlist instead of going back to the original playlist PL...

what am I doing wrong? O_o My problem is that I have all my library in a playlist and I listen to it with shuffle on... sometimes I want to listen a particular song, so I quicksearch it and playback queue it... but then the song is played and foobar instead of going back to my "library playlist" continues in the quicksearch made one... sleep.gif

You're not doing anything wrong. It's foobar working that way. You can work around this by queueing the next song in your "PL" playlist.

Ok, I'll get used to do it that way then :-) Thanks happy.gif
