Apologies if I'm not in the right forum, but this is driving me nuts!

I've been copying some vinyl LPs to .wav files (using a turntable and Cool Edit Pro).
After some filtering, I've converted the .wav files to .m4a using iTunes v7.
And I've copied the .m4a files to my shared music folder and added them to my iTunes library all tagged OK.
So far, so good.

Now, using the music folder share I've added the .m4a files to my WMP10 library on a separate PC running XP MCE2005. The WMP Library has all the tags added manually, and the .m4a file plays OK in both WMP10 and in MCE2005 My Music, because I'm using 3ivx and/or Orban plug-ins.

BUT for some reason the Year in MCE is displayed as the Year in WMP minus 1 !
In other words, a track correctly tagged and displayed as 1970 in WMP is displayed as 1969 in MCE2005.

This has only just started happening -- most of my .m4a tracks appear with the correct year in MCE.
Did anyone else ever see anything like this ?
