I'm looking for a 2.1 soundcard with at least 2 analog outputs, 1 input, 1 midi in/out. the card should be at least 24Bit/48kHz! I also want to connect my front pannel(1 analog out, 1 mic) with the card if possible. PCI only!

I cant decide between the EMU 0404 DIGITAL AUDIO SYSTEM and the M-AUDIO DELTA AUDIOPHILE 2496. which one is better? or maybe even a other card?

P.S. nothing about 100€, please. im not a professional, so a 70€ is enough, actually

EMU seems more compatible with XP. Get the Audiophile only if you are planning to dual boot in Win98.

I have the ESI Juli@ and its worth a look.

PS: havent seen your 100€-limit, but its realy just a bit higher than that.
