Hi all,
Using LAME 3.96.1, I'm finding some files are being encoded with an incorrect length value (eg: a song that is 3:39 has a length field value of 16:30).
Is there a way to re-calculate and re-write the length value into the .mp3 without re-encoding it?
For tagging I'm using MP3Tag, but I believe Length is header info / I don't see it exposed as an editible value in the tag editor.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

I've never had a file I encoded myself with LAME have issues with length. Usually it's either from a corrupted download off the internet or it's just reported wrongly by software. Windows Explorer for example may report it wrong when there is no problem. You could try the foobar2000 "fix mp3 header" utility. It's in the right click menu after you've selected a track. But chances are your LAME files will show up with the right length in foobar already.
