Hi audio experts, this is a MPEG-4 SLS demo player developed on Java.
MPEG-4 SLS on Java demo

right now, this simple player is able to demonstrate scalable to lossless playback
(32 kbps to around 800-900 kbps) of some audio materials already uploaded.

Adjust the bitrate slider to vary the streaming audio quality. If you experience
intermittent playback or frame dropouts, try lowering the bitrate to accommodate
to your current network connection speed.

subsequent updates to the player will be available to:
- improve on the current streaming/buffering technique
- include functionality to upload additional audio materials
- allow random access during song playback

Keep a lookout for the new updates!

Upload doesn't work and there seem to be no pre-uploaded files?
neevlek
if you are accessing from behind a firewall, it should be able to accept ports 8100, 8101 or 8115
otherwise, try accessing again from another network which supports these ports

Ah yes, nice, here at home it works. Does this have an AAC core? I guess not?
neevlek
the presently uploaded tracks do not contain any core.

However when the upload function is enabled in future, it will support
SLS encoding with AAC core @ 32, 64 and 128 kbps
