Full Version: How to hide songs without rating?

I've run several searches, and tried a couple of versions of code that I came up with, but no go.

What I want is this:

When in Library Filter mode, and using the Rating Section, I get the normal display of songs with ratings from 1 to 5. But, I also get the display of all songs that have not been rated at all.

Is there a way to not have those non-rated songs displayed. I mean, why would I want to see non-rated songs in the first place, when I'm in the Rating section?

I've even tried to change the %criteria% settings in Preferences, but nothing I do will stop them from showing.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

Thanks!

Use !null!

Example: $if2(%rating%,!null!)

Thank you!

I entered that as my new %criteria% in Prefs, in the second level of the Rating section.

That gets me closer to what I'm looking for. However, now, instead of Library Filter showing me hundreds of unrated songs, it lists songs with a rating of 0 to be a count of 0.

Not exactly what I'm looking for, but close.

The one issue you will likely come across eventually with the above is that if, for example, in the section that's organized by album you click on an album for wich there are no rated tracks, it will display a single empty line, and if there are any levels defined below that, you will continue to get an empty row for each level up to the last level defined.

After reading your comment, I became concerned about what you said.

I went and checked several Albums that I have, that none of the songs have been rated yet. The single song listings still all still show up under the Album name, as normal.

So, for me, thankfully your above mentioned is not an issue for me.

Thanks for the heads-up tho!
