Hi, I was using Sony "Acid" 4 for a long time (>2 years) for producing trance/techno music, but the results are less than satisfying. What software would you recommend for producing trance music? I am wondering, what software do the professionals use?

Cubase + Reason + Absynth + Battery

OK, that's not the cheapest solution. Reason can, to some extent, do the work of the other three as well.
