MY MISTAKE (read below posts),
THIS PLUGIN DO ALMOST THE SAME THING AS AN INTERNAL Playback->Resume playback after restart SETTING

It is a general purpose plugin, which remember the last played song and can continue playing after restart.

homepage: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fooautoplay

installation: Copy foo_autoplay.dll into "foobar2000_dir/components", then enable plugin in Playback option.

Isn't this the same as Playback > Resume playback after restart?

If not, what is the difference?

now I'm look like as totally idiot smile.gif, it is the same as an internal Playback setting.
I was looking for this setting quite a long time, without success.

I'm sorry. tongue.gif
But glad you found it.

It was not in vain. You've learned how to make a component. Which is very good, for maybe future components.

Thanks.

Well, I'm stumped.

I cannot find this command anywhere! Not in my Menu - Playback section, nor in the Preferences - Advanced - Playback section.

What is supposed to be done to gain access to this command, without using that new component? I have the latest stable version of PanelsUI, 0.13.8 beta

There just isn't a Playback - Resume anywhere that I can see............ sad.gif

Thank you, foosion!

But here's something interesting.....

I went ahead and installed the new component anyways, and it does something the internal command does not do!

When you use this component, and restart foo, the song starts to play automatically, all by itself.

Sort of cool if you like to save mouse clicks! smile.gif

Which is what the internal setting do if you have it enabled.

Well, doing what foosion showed, my Foobar does not start to play all by itself when it's been exited from, then started again, using that one internal checkbox setting.

The new component does start to play all by itself when started again.

This is how it is on my computer, anyway..... wink.gif

If you stop a song it will not play after restart.
It only resumes (from playing or paused state).

So this component may be usueful for some afterall. =)

Yes, this component will autoplay the last song, from the exact same timemark (is that a word?) no matter what the state was when you shutdown.

So, I agree, it may be useful for some.... especially those who like to save mouse clicks. biggrin.gif
