Hi,

in most of the albums I have I had added the replaygain tags through foobar. Now, for some of them I might have missed to do so, especially in the early days.

Question:
- If I restart the scanning process on the entire collection, would it do the calculation anew for all files or only those that do not have the tags yet? The former one might take quite some time ...
- Alternatively, is there an easy way of find out which albums are missing the tags?

Thanks for your help!

Cheers

Add a new column in column UI called (RG). Use this code:
CODE

$if(%__replaygain_track_gain%,RG,NO RG)

Sort by this column, and select the songs without replay gain. Scan albums

You can also use autoplaylist to make a playlist for all songs without replaygain.

If you do per-file RG, it will only apply to files without RG.
If you want to verify this, select a group of tracks that you know have RG, and try applying RG.
You will be asked if you want to overwrite existing RG info.

Thanks, kanak!

That works great.

Thanks, c32.
