I have the following and am having problems setting up the cables correctly for the following

1. PC
2. Audiophile 2496 sound card - midi out and in
3. external Yamaha Keyboard with Midi
4. JV1080 sound module
5. 4 track tape deck - audio out
6. Guitar - plugs into 4 track tape mixing deck
7. Mic for singing - plugs into 4 track tape mixing deck
8. Emagic Platium - music software for recording the music output from either JV1080 or 4 track

How do I set this home studio up so that I can

a) record external LIVE music - guitar - voice on e-Magic
b) record through the JV1080 using the external piano to activate the Jv1080

I had this set-up OK a few years ago - I have dusted off the equipment from " some down-time " and to my horror I cannot remember how I connected the leads - midi out in and thru... etc etc

I can work within e-magic but cannot hear anything I have recorded in the past or see anything flashing on the JV1080. I am sure it something simple... Can anybody send a description or DIAGRAM of the audio/midi cables cables ??
