I like Iriver slimx line. You can get them really cheap nowadays, they used to be over $100.00. You can firmware update them to play ogg vorbis files. They read id3v2 tags I believe, and vbr. I have one in my car that has endured seattle winters for several years and is still kicking.

I would recommend a Panasonic one, I still enjoy audio CDs on my SL-CT820...

I'm kind of in the same boat, I have a nice Sony one that plays MP3s and their format (not worth mentioning), but I want to get a new one with FM tuner. So here's a quick run down of what I'm looking at:
Sony D-NF430: AM, FM, TV, Weather Radio, 1 battery power supply, 3 Line LCD $59.95
Philips EXP2581/17: External FM Tuner, Touch Screen LCD, WMA (for all 5 of my WMA files) $45.11 @ Amazon

Any other suggestions for MP3/FM/CD players?

Any other suggestions for MP3/FM/CD players?

Panasonic SL-CT582: built-in FM/AM digital tuner with 30 presets, a wired remote control, up to 141/75 hours playback (MP3/CDDA).

P.S. the Panasonic model in your list is actually Philips smile.gif
