hi

i have searched around for help or a guide to burrrn but cant find any... what i want to do it is burn audio cds
with replaygain on, reason for this i have many formats of music with different volumes, it will make my life easier cause all my (future cds) will have the same volume. I have burnt a few discs with replaygain on (album and track mode) but they sound too "soft"
i mostly use the cds in the club & when i use them i have to turn the mixers gains almost to max just to get the same volume of a normal cd.
Can anyone give adive please

Thanks
kanak
To enable replay gain:

The reason it sounds so soft is that RG is calculated with reference to -89 dB. Use preamp to make it louder (Settings -> Replaygain).

Just above that option called +6db, you have an option called "additional gain". Input your required value here.

Also, if you're doing mix cds, you might want to use "Track adjustment" instead.

You definitely don't want to put a large value there... it'll sound terrible. I guess the best thing to do is to do it in small increments (increase by 1 db everytime) until you get the desired result. Sorry i can't give hard numbers; i don't use preamp at all.
