Hey there people.

I would like to know the _easiest_ way to change the play-speed, 25% slower in my case, permanently on several mp3s.

In WinXP. Need more info? Please ask!

Audacity's a good bet.

Audacity, GoldWave, or any other audio editor should be able to do this easily.

I'm looking at Audacity right now, seems promising.. But... Really slow.. First to import the mp3-files, 29 files @ 25-45 minutes each, and then to change the tempo -25%. So I'm making this one solution and hope to get more. smile.gif Thank you Whelkman. smile.gif

GoldWave had this "Batch Processing" atleast.. But how to change the tempo of it, to -25%.. I have no clue...

If it's slow, you could look into batch editing; test with lots of small (short!) files first, then let batch conversion run overnight when you sleep.

I've been looking for batch tutorials for Audacity, with no luck. I think SoX can do what you want, but it's a command-line app, not a GUI app.
