Hello,
I currently have Windows XP Home on my PC. I sometimes burn audio CDRs from FLAC files using Nero 6 and nxmyfla.dll. No problems.
I'm considering upgrading(?) to Windows Vista. I ran the Upgrade Advisor. It says Nero 6 is not Vista compatible.
What is the best way to burn audio CDRs from FLAC files using Vista? Nero 7? I seem to recall reading somewhere that nxmyfla.dll does not work in Nero 7. Correct?
thanks,
Dave

I've yet to come across any application that works on XP but doesn't on Vista. So, in answer to your question, just use the same thing you were using on XP.

I've tried burrrn in the past. Not crazy about it. Untagged FLACs don't show up properly. Also don't like the way it has to convert everything to .wav first.
Nxmyfla.dll works fine in Nero 7. Burns FLACs fine. Too bad Nero 7 is so bloated. Nero 6 doesn't work in Vista according to Microsoft's Upgrade Advisor and everything else I've read.

http://www2.ashampoo.com/webcache/html/1/product_2_1110_.htmThat's the perfect software for you. Simple, but powerful... just works! You won't need any plug-ins or conversion to WAV. By the way I recommend it to everyone looking for an alternative to Nero 7, which is indeed quite bloated.

No one has suggested Foobar yet? Needs Nero installed, but clean and fast implementation
